VT Metal Kft. is playing an active role on several areas of the supplying industry:
  • By CNC controlled machines we produce machined parts, first of all, for TIR1 and TIR2 customers, but besides these, we take part in supplies to the Machine and Electronics Industry.
  • In the galvanisation workshop of our company, besides electroplated coatings according to the requirements of the Automotive Industry, we are serving also other areas of the industry with our galvanised parts.
  • During our Hazardous Wastes Management activity, in the sewage treatment plant of our galvanisation workshop and on a well built up yard for hazardous wastes, we carry out the collection and disposal with the appropriate leave of the authority.

Our Company employs 320 employees, its annual turnover is nearly 15 million Euro. In our return of sales, besides exports,

In our workshops, under the control of experienced engineers and technicians, the parts and the coatings are produced according to the customers’ requirements.

VT Metal Kft. has been operating as a private enterprise, it belongs to the VIDEOTON Holding Zrt. which has received AAA certification from Bisnode. In our work, we apply the regulations of ISO TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards, our company has obtained the certifications according to the above standards.

Our Quality Assurance System

We have obtained IATF 16949 and  ISO 14001 certifications issued by AIB Vincotte.
Besides our workers’ self-control in the workshops, trained quality controllers take care of complying with the customers’ requirements.

In our adopted Control Plans, besides how to use of the manual measuring instruments on the scene -where it is necessary- we also specify the measurements performed in our well equipped laboratories. (measuring laboratory of the Mechanical Business Unit, measuring laboratory of the Surface Treatment Business Unit)
We have 3 D measuring machine and X-ray thickness test  machine at our disposal.

Our  trained colleagues with the help of the available measuring equipment can give a true picture about the performance of our production lines and the manufactured products.

In our galvanisation workshop the technology is operated on base of the measurements of a well equipped laboratory.
Our engineers can continuously rely on the updated measuring results, and statistics during their production development, technology preparing and product launching (PPAP) activity.

RoHS

According to the Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament, in the Electronics Industry, the use of certain hazardous substances to the environment were restricted (RoHS requirements). In the same way, facilitating the recycle of end-of life vehicles, the use of the same materials were also restricted. (EC Principle Requirements, enacted on 1-st of July, 2007)

In the case of surface treated parts, it refers to the restriction for the use of primarily coatings containing cadmium, lead and hexavalent chromium compounds, as well as, certain organic matters.

VT Metal Kft  entirely suits these requirements, even in our selection of coatings, from 2002 we have already had the increased corrosion-resistant passivation free from hexavalent chromium.

As in many cases in the chemical processes it is difficult to fully preclude the possibility of the presence of certain materials, we have defined the limit value, according to the above norms, as not O ,but the following values:

Hexalvalent chromium: 1,000 ppm
Lead: 1,000 ppm
Cadmium: 100 ppm
